A Gorgeous Bed & Breakfast In The Beautiful Kent Countryside
We were looking for somewhere to stay the night before our wedding, and by some miracle, we came across Hurst Farm in Crockham Hill. It’s an incredibly stunning b & b nestled in the Kent countryside. It’s located on a farm and as soon as you drive down the cobbled driveway, you know you’re about to stay somewhere special.
There are four rooms in total, and you can hire them all out if you wish. This gives you exclusive access. Or if you fancy a romantic break in a charming bed and breakfast in a gorgeous location, this is the perfect place to stay. It’s quiet, peaceful and the rooms are modern and pristine.
But perhaps the biggest draw is the bathroom in room 2. There’s an open bathtub which sits behind a large window, exposing views of the surrounding fields and countryside. The perfect place to unwind with a glass of vino and a good book.
They’ve also got an outdoor pool that can be used in warmer months. I want to book another visit just so I can go and chill out by the pool and take in the picturesque views. Wander round the pretty gardens and take advantage of the lovely reception room complete with a kitchen and an enormous window showcasing the impressive views.
We choose to stay here with our wedding party the night before the wedding and also got ready there in the morning. Victoria, the owner was extremely flexible and accommodating. We had all sorts of people turn up on the day and everything got very hectic. The scenery and large rooms provide the ideal backdrop for getting ready pictures.
We also had a cooked breakfast in the morning. Victoria as happy to cook delicious cooked breakfasts for the boys and poached eggs and avocado for the ladies. She even picked up some rye bread especially. I can’t thank Hurst Farm enough for allowing us to stay and use this amazing accommodation for the build-up to our wedding day.
I can’t wait to book a few nights here with my husband so that I can properly enjoy the bath and the facilities. I was a naturally a little distracted with the wedding. All the bridesmaids were stunned by the beautiful setting when they woke up in the morning. We arrived at night so they didn’t see Hurst Farm in all its glory until the sun had risen.
I’d highly recommend staying here, but hurry, at the moment it feels like a bit of a hidden gem. It won’t be long before more people discover how fab it is, so check it out and make sure you book in advance.
