If you have anxiety, then you probably have a hard time explaining what it feels like to people. Those lucky people who sail through life hardly worrying about anything simply cannot get their head around the concept of anxiety.

How everyone experiences anxiety is different, but there are some symptoms and feelings that most sufferers can identify with. I wrote a blog post where I tried to pinpoint how anxiety feels, so you might want to have a read.

Everyone’s used to seeing ridiculously positive and upbeat quotes in social media news feeds, personally, a lot of these make me want to yell at my screen. When you suffer from anxiety it’s soothing to hear other people’s stories and helpful to see that there are lots of others who are going through the same thing as you.
